Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it or have it stored, which security techniques we use and for whom the data is transparent.
Web store software
Our webshop was developed with software from WooCommerce, we chose Pompoenwebdesign.nl for our web hosting. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Pompoenwebdesign.nl has access to your data to provide us (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. We purchase web hosting services from Pompoenwebdesign.nl. This party processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes.
Web hosting / Email
We purchase web hosting services from Pompoenwebdesign.nl. This party processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services. These are not personal data. Pompoenwebdesign.nl has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Pompoenwebdesign.nl is obliged to observe secrecy on the basis of the agreement. Pompoenwebdesign.nl is obliged to take appropriate security measures on the basis of the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss.
Hostnet.nl / MailChimp
For our regular business e-mail traffic we use the services of Hostnet.nl and MailChimp. These parties have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. They do not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.
We use the Mollie platform to handle (part of) the payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. All the above mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data for longer than allowed by the legal terms.

Shipping and logistics
When you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL, DHL, UPS DPD and others to carry out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with these logistics providers. These companies use this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. We sell (part of) our articles via the platforms of Marktplaats.nl and eBay.nl. If you place an order via this platform, they will share your order and personal data with us. We use this information to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.
Billing and accounting
The invoices you receive are automatically generated from the online store software Woocommerce used by us. See above mentioned in: Webshop software.
Payment on the website will be made via Mollie, see previously mentioned in: Payment Processing.
There is no personal data shared with our accountant or visible in our end accounts.
Purpose of the data processing
General purpose of the processing
We only use your data for the benefit of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will ask you for explicit permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy on the basis of the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (for example your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.
Participation in tax and criminal investigations
In some cases, Electric Vehicle Parts B.V. will be obliged to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations on the basis of a legal obligation. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law offers us.
